Black Lake Finds Sales Judgment Inside The Machine

Black Lake founder Yuxiang Zhou tested an AI sales coach against the company's top human sales leader. Fortune reported that seven out of 10 senior salespeople preferred the AI's advice, based on a system that captured sales conversations and context from the field.

The result points to a near-term AI wedge: coaching decisions that used to depend on scarce managerial judgment. The harder question is trust. If experienced staff accept machine advice, companies may reorganize training, supervision and sales operations around pattern recognition rather than seniority alone.
