Chift banks €10.5 million on Europe's fragmented financial plumbing
Chift, founded in Brussels in 2022 by Gauthier Henroz, Henry Hertoghe and Matthieu Hertoghe, has raised €10.5 million in a Series A round led by BlackFin Capital Partners, which manages more than €4 billion in assets. Existing backers Entourage, Shapers, Seeder Fund and Wallonie Entreprendre joined. The round follows more than tenfold revenue growth since a €2.3 million Seed round in 2024.
The capital arrives attached to a stated endpoint rather than a reaction to market noise: by 2028, Chift intends to be Europe's go-to provider of financial connectivity. The plan reads backwards from there, expansion into every major European market, deeper AI integration, self-configuring connections, measured against a company that already links more than 120 financial systems and over 50,000 SMEs across more than ten countries.
