Tandem Health banks €86.5 million to wire AI into European clinics
Tandem Health, the Stockholm HealthTech company founded in 2023 by Lukas Saari, Oscar Boldt-Christmas and Oliver Åstrand, raised €86.49 million ($100 million) in Series B funding led by the Scaleup Europe Fund managed by EQT, with Kinnevik, Northzone, Amino Collective and Visionaries participating. Following a €42.6 million Series A in June 2025, total funding reaches €138.38 million, with more than 10,000 care organisations already adopted.
The capital is aimed at a named end point rather than at whichever pressure was loudest: moving from an AI medical assistant to a full clinic operating system that manages patient flows. The markers are already set out, with offices in 14 European markets, 75 in-house clinicians, Class IIa certification under EU Medical Device Regulation, and a claimed 29% cut in clinician admin time.
