Revnu raises €2.6 million and bets on Manchester over San Francisco

Revnu, an AI sales platform, has raised €2.6 million ($3 million) to grow from Manchester rather than San Francisco, where much of its customer base sits. NPIF II – PXN Equity Finance, managed by PXN Ventures, led the round, with backing from Y Combinator. George Jefferson and Art Freebrey founded the company in 2026 and will use the funds to build the team and expand in the UK and US.

The founders treated San Francisco as a stop, not a destination. Y Combinator and a customer base concentrated there made staying the obvious answer. Even so, Jefferson and Freebrey went back to Manchester, citing engineering talent from UK universities and a first hire relocating from London. The choice ties location to the company they intend to build, not to where demand is loudest today.
