Copenhagen AI startup TODAY lands Seed money to free insurance advisors from admin
TODAY, a Copenhagen-based startup building an AI sales operating system for financial and insurance advisors, has raised 2.8 million euros in Seed funding co-led by High-Tech Gründerfonds and InsurTech Gateway. Founded in 2024 by Michael Gackstatter and Artem Demchenkov, the company had earlier raised a one million euro pre-Seed round and now serves more than 3,500 advisors across the DACH region.
The pitch rests less on new revenue than on what stops draining an advisor's week: meeting documentation, back-office routine, incoming calls and compliance paperwork handed to software agents. Michael Gackstatter, co-founder and chief executive of TODAY, frames the freed hours as time returned to clients, while pension reforms, market consolidation and tighter regulation pile pressure on advisors. Reclaimed attention, not extra tooling, is the product on offer.
