Fifteen years after a homemade tracker, Unravel Health funds a saliva hormone lab

Unravel Health, a London startup founded in 2024, has raised 2.96 million euros (2.5 million pounds) to build the Micro Lab, a palm-sized device that reads several hormones from a saliva sample in minutes. Conduit EIS Impact Fund and Wrightwood led the round. Leo Capital, Embryo Ventures, Hermesa and Zinc VC joined them. The first early-access devices are planned for 2027.

The goal came long before the company. Veronika Bridgman, co-founder and chief executive, built her own hormone tracker fifteen years ago, and the science behind the device was developed over ten years at the University of Glasgow. The new capital will pay for equivalency studies, more markers and the start of regulatory approval. Each of these steps serves one end point: real hormone readings at home, every day.
