Elorian turns a pre-product $300 million valuation into its first visual reasoning model

Elorian, an artificial intelligence startup based in Palo Alto, released its first model, Glimpse, in October 2026. Before it had any product, the company raised a fifty-five million dollar seed round at a three hundred million dollar valuation. Glimpse is a research preview with API access and a chat interface. It costs sixty cents per million input tokens and three dollars per million output tokens.

Andrew Dai, Elorian's chief executive and a former Google DeepMind researcher, presents Glimpse as a first step toward a stated goal. He wants the company to move from seeing to doing, including controlling robots directly, and next year to lead every visual reasoning test. A small team trained the model on a few hundred GPUs, so the launch looks like a planned milestone rather than a race against larger rivals.
