A consultant's $45,000 in savings put caffeinated gummies in 1,940 Walmart stores
Georgia Young, a 28-year-old former consultant based in New York, put all of her savings, around $45,000, into launching Rallee, a caffeinated gummy brand, in January 2025. After a relaunch in February 2026, the company reached 1,940 Walmart stores in eight months. Young still owns all of Rallee and has funded it herself. She conservatively projects about $1.8 million in revenue in 2027.
The revenue line hides what the growth absorbed. Young built the product on evenings and weekends while consulting until April 2025, and a physical product locks up cash in gummies, packaging and freight months before any sale. When sealing equipment failed to arrive before the Walmart deadline, the fix ran on extra labor and handheld tools at higher cost. Nearly everything earned flows back into the business.
