A founder who already sold once returns to industrial cyber defence with new backing
Indurex is an Amsterdam startup that uses AI agents to secure industrial cyber-physical systems. It raised seven million euros less than nine months after leaving stealth in January 2026. Contrarian Ventures led the round, which was reported in October 2026, and Axeleo Capital and Curiosity also took part. Jalal Bouhdada and Maarten Oosterink co-founded the company, and Bouhdada is chief executive. The money will go to research and commercial expansion.
Rokas Peciulaitis, founder and managing partner at Contrarian Ventures, explained the decision to lead the round mostly through the person rather than the software: Jalal Bouhdada had already built and sold a company in this same field. The money comes from an investor who treats a past exit as evidence. It also sends a founder who once cashed out straight back into the same industrial problem.
