Intuitivo turns a teacher's request into a seed round aimed at Brazil

Intuitivo, a Portuguese digital assessment startup founded in 2021, has raised 1.35 million euros in Seed funding. Caixa Capital and the Impact Innovation Fund, managed by 3xP Global, led the round. Techstars, COREangels Lisboa, COREangels Porto and Angels Way, a community fund pooling 436 small investors, also took part. The platform reports 75,000 registered teachers and more than 200 contracts covering over 500 schools in Portugal.

João Guimarães, co-founder and chief executive of Intuitivo, gives the money three named uses: deeper product development, growing the team from 11 to 20 employees before the end of 2026, and entering Brazil. That market has about 2.2 million teachers, roughly twelve times the size of Portugal's. He bases the choice on a shared language and on Brazilian teachers who already use the platform.
